Ralph’s Fishing
Station & Marina will provide Launch Service for $800 to and from our
dock May 15th - October 15th
Monday ~
Thursday 7am to 10pm, Friday 7am to Midnight, Saturday 6am to Midnight, Sunday
6am to 10 pm
After Labor
Day 7am to 9pm ~ ALL SERVICE TERMINATES OCTOBER 15TH
Ralph’s
reserves the right to suspend launch service due to inclement weather.
LAUNCH SERVICE
Must be paid in full before mooring is dropped. Launch Service is non refundable and
absolutely no rebates will be given. The launch
will make every effort to pick up boat owner promptly, but it is requested that
boat owner have a VHF Radio (we monitor Channel 67). Try to avoid peak traffic times (Saturday & Sunday 11am to
1pm & 4 pm to 6pm).
With the use of the docks and the launch comes a certain
degree of risk, which is inherent to boating.
Proper use and care is required constitutes an understanding and agreement
to accept the inherent risks involved in these activities of the boat owner and
their guests to insure that the risk is minimized. Use of launch boarding ladders and proper boarding procedures are
mandatory. Passengers must remain
seated during launch operation. If any
question exists as to the proper procedures to be followed, it is the
responsibility of the passenger to ask the launch operator prior to
boarding. Use of the docks and/or
launch constitutes an understanding and agreement to accept the inherent risks
involved in these activities.
IDENTIFICATION
Identification stickers will be issued for each boat and must be affixed
next to Town of Brookhaven sticker. If
your boat does not have a launch service sticker, the launch driver will not
pick you up.
PARKING
Parking stickers will be issued 2 per boat. The parking sticker must be affixed to driver’s side
window of your car. This sticker
will allow you to park in our yard and enter the beach at night.
MOORINGS
mooring anchors cannot be installed in launch area without a current
permit from the Town of Brookhaven.
The mooring must be inspected and conform to the Town
Code. The launch service fee must be
PAID IN FULL before mooring will be dropped.
DOCK SERVICE
The dock is available for boat owners use to pick up and discharge
passengers, however, long term standing (over 10 minutes) is NOT
permitted. Disabled boats must be
returned to mooring. Washing of
boats is allowed during the week ONLY, due to boat traffic on
weekends. In all circumstances, please
check with and follow directions of dock personnel.
THEFT
Theft has been kept to a minimum due to the presence of someone at
Ralph’s 24 hours a day. However, no
responsibility is assumed.
Boat owner should review their insurance policy to make sure they are up
to date.
BOAT SAFETY
Every effort will be made by Ralph’s to prevent boats from sinking,
etc., but no responsibility is assumed.
It is suggested that each boat be equipped with an automatic bilge
pump. Due to factors beyond our
control, such as wind and other acts of God, Ralph’s is not responsible for any
loss, theft, destruction and other injury to any boat, vessel or other water
craft, including equipment fixtures and contents, resulting from tying your
boat to your mooring. By tying your
boat or allowing your boat to be tied to your mooring, you the boat owner
accept all responsibility for any and all damage caused. The sole liability of Ralph’s will be to
move such mooring as soon as possible.
